Keno Rules
VINEYARD HEIGHTS KENO
1ST TUESDAY OF THE MONTH
Some changes have been made, we have some new players, and attached is an updated list.
To play bring a $20.00 wrapped gift (SPEND $20.00) (this can be in a cheap brown bag) and $5.00 cash.
We play the 1st Tuesday of every month. Start time is now 6:30p.m. We can always change the date if need be for holidays and spring break, etc.
The Host will serve dinner, drinks, and dessert, coffee (half and half is great to have) and table snacks.
Keno starts at 6:30p.m. Dinner needs to be served not later than 6:45p.m.
We will start the game between 7:00p.m. and 7:15p.m. The first set is regular keno called by suit. Once all the gifts are opened we will play blackout for the pot of money. Who ever wins the money will go home with the money. If there is a tie we will draw for the highest card wins the money.
**We will now use post it notes with a description of the gift and place it on the back of our playing cards. Then when we start to steal we will pass the post it notes. This way we can keep up with who has what. Also if there are 2 gifts/money alike we will label them first one “A” second one “B”.
Then we will break for dessert and coffee.
The second round (stealing) will be games that are made up. Who ever deals will call what game to play (I will list some ideas) and call if there are any wild cards, then it will be red-black.
When the second round starts the total games we play to steal will be the total of how many players we have (if we have 10 players then we will play a total of 10 made up games). THIS WILL END THE NIGHT HOPEFULLY BY 9:30P.M.
**** We are going back to the old way and the right way of playing Keno. At the end of the night what ever post it notes you have on the back of your card are your gifts to go home with. NO MORE EVERYONE GOES HOME WITH A GIFT.
Good Luck and Remember it is just a game of winning.
Anytime there is more then one winner we will draw for who has the highest card.
When it is your turn to host please start by the Friday before to either send out e-mails or call everyone to let them know it is their Keno invite. PLEASE RSVP SO
THAT THE HOST KNOWS HOW MANY TO PLAN FOR. I have removed the Sub-List because those ladies never come. If we are short players (12) then you are welcome to call some of your friends to fill in.
As you can see we have more than 12 players and it will continue to grow as we get new neighbors. So therefore our calendar year will be how many we have.
I did purchase a new game so that we would have enough cards and more chips.
