I think it is important to consider that a change in the code affects not only the Peterson house but the whole development.
They have a very attractive looking front elevation with a carport area off to the side. It could be tastefully enclosed and as
long as it stayed closed would look ok from the street.
However if you change the code to allow street facing carports, or storage areas, be prepared to have the neighborhood
